My name is Grace Boersma and I graduated from Hope College in 2014 with a degree in chemistry and sociology and graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a masters in secondary education. I started working at Godwin Heights High School in the fall of that same year. I teach chemistry (general and honors) as well as sociology. I am passionate about bringing the knowledge students have into the scientific world. Students know that we put salt on the roads in the winter as well as in a pot of boiling water, but I want to let them explore why. I live with my husband and our beautiful and curious cat, Flossy.
Fun Fact: My favorite element is Mercury!
