Mark Holsworth
My name is Mark Holsworth. I graduated from Central Michigan University in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Geography. I also earned an associate's degree from Lansing Community College, a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University, and an ELL teaching endorsement from Aquinas College. After earning my teaching certificate, I taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 at Holland High School for 2 years. In 2010, I joined the "Godwin Family" here at Godwin Heights High School, where I teach Algebra I, 9th grade Math Lab, and Computer Science. I am also the leader of a student organization called G Club. Formerly, I was the Varsity Baseball Coach here at the high school, until my children at home reached a certain age. I have been married to my wife since 2006, and we have 3 wonderful children that keep us very busy. We enjoy music, sports, and the outdoors. I am passionate about ensuring that all students that enter my classroom can learn.
