Patti Reeder
My name is Patti Reeder, and I graduated from Aquinas College in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree, including teaching certification in grades 6-12 mathematics and K-12 English as a Second Language (ESL). I fulfilled my student teaching requirements here at Godwin Heights High School in Fall 2011 and was hired as an Intervention Specialist in the Spring. Afterwards, I left for a year to teach at Godfrey-Lee in their middle school as an ESL teacher. In 2013, I was hired back at Godwin as a math teacher. I have taught various courses throughout the years, including Math Essentials, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Honors Algebra 2. I grew up here in Grand Rapids and have lived here my whole life. My passion for teaching goes way back (both my parents were in education), and in fact, I have wanted to be a teacher since I was little to the point where I used to play school with my friends! I love our Godwin Family and creating the lifelong relationships with staff and students. I am proud to be a Wolverine!
