Deanne Basse

My name is Deanne Basse and I received my Masters of Art Education from Western Michigan University. I teach a wide variety of art classes here at the High School including Introduction to Art, Ceramics 1 & 2, Drawing 1 & 2, Painting 1 & 2, as well as 3/D and Calligraphy. I am passionate about leading our amazing students on an artistic journey to discovering and developing their talents and creative voices. I live in Kalamazoo with my husband and daughter and enjoy spending time with them and extended family. In my spare time you can find me cooking and playing with my daughter, doing home renovations with my husband and enjoying family time outdoors boating in the summer and sledding in the winter!
